In this Zoom workshop, Matt Brown will teach you the thumb lead, two-finger banjo showstopper “Lost Gander” from Dee Hicks. You’ll learn how to get into f#DEAD tuning from open-G (gDGBD), then practice the iconic harmonic “honks” that are central to this beautiful piece. After breaking the tune down into bite-sized chunks, Matt will share his ideas for making it your own. The tablature for this tune and workshop can be found on page 35 of Matt’s book.

After it concludes, you’ll receive a second email containing the unlisted YouTube link for watching the video on demand.
