Matt Brown’s Beginner Course for thumb lead, two-finger banjo is a pre-recorded class that allow you to work through the curriculum at your own pace and on your own schedule. It is intended to be completed with his tablature book Thumb Lead Two-Finger Banjo as the text.

Matt spent more than a decade teaching this approachable style of old-time banjo picking in the classrooms of the Old Town School of Folk Music, the Louisville Folk School, and on Zoom. He has worked through these easy old-time songs and fiddle tunes with hundreds of students.
